Dr. Adrian Michael Danchenko Joins Tennova Cardiology - Clarksville

Clarksville, Tennessee (September 22, 2021) – Tennova Healthcare – Clarksville welcomes Adrian Danchenko, M.D., to Tennova Medical Group. Dr. Danchenko is now accepting patients at Tennova Cardiology – Clarksville, 647 Dunlop Lane, Medical Office Building One, Suite 101 in Clarksville, (931) 502-3750.
Dr. Danchenko grew up in the suburbs of Maryland minutes from our Nation’s Capital. He went to college at the University of Maryland at College Park where he graduated with a double major in zoology and computer science. He earned his medical degree at the Uniform Services University of Health Science after being commissioned as a naval officer. He completed his residency training at the Naval Medical Center San Diego and his fellowship training at the National Naval Medical Center.
Dr. Danchenko served in the U.S. Navy after earning his medical degree. After internship he elected to serve as a general medical officer for four years with the U.S. Marine Corps stationed at Kaneohe Marine Corps Base. He was deployed overseas on several occasions while filling multiple operational roles from battalion, regimental and acting flight surgeon. After completing his fellowship training in cardiology he held a teaching appointment and served as CCU, cardiac rehabilitation and echo director during his tenure at the cardiology fellowship training program in San Diego. He has provided primary and subspecialty care to active duty military and their families, retirees and to members of the US Congress during his 13 years of active duty. He completed an additional seven years in the Naval Reserves prior to retiring from Naval Service.
Dr. Danchenko has more than 21 years of experience as an invasive cardiologist with a special interest in the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease, cardiomyopathies, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and atrial fibrillation. He maintains his health by going to the local YMCA and hiking the local state parks. He is board certified in cardiology and nuclear cardiology.
