Doctors Price and Werner Join Tennova Surgery - Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, TN – Tennova Surgery - Clarksville welcomes David Price, M.D., and Alan Werner, M.D., to Tennova Medical Group. Both long-standing medical professionals in Clarksville/Montgomery County, Drs. Price and Werner are now accepting patients at Tennova Surgery - Clarksville, 647 Dunlop Lane, Medical Office Building One, Suite 203, in Clarksville, (931) 502-3700.
David Price, M.D., is a board-certified general surgeon and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Practicing for over 31 years, his areas of experience include gallbladder and other biliary diseases, intestinal surgery, breast cancer, micro-invasive hernia repair, and robotic surgery.
A native of western Kentucky, Dr. Price received his bachelor’s degree from Murray State University in Kentucky. He earned his master’s degree in toxicology from the University of Kentucky and a medical degree from University of Louisville Medical School. He completed his internship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston followed by surgical residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pennsylvania, where he subsequently practiced for 22 years. In 2015 he relocated closer to home to serve the people of Clarksville, Montgomery County, and western Kentucky.

Alan Werner, M.D., FACS, is a board-certified surgeon practicing vascular surgery. Dr. Werner frequently treats conditions like peripheral vascular disease (PAD and PVD), carotid disease and various venous disorders along with other conditions at varying frequencies.
A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Werner received his bachelor's degree in chemistry, graduating summa cum laude and valedictorian from Geneva College. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Mercy Hospital and a fellowship in vascular surgery at Arizona Heart Institute under vascular pioneer Dr. Ted Deithrich. With 33+ years of experience in the medical field, he has been practicing in the Clarksville/Montgomery County area since 1998.
