Tennova Healthcare – Clarksville Recognizes Employees For Service

Tennova Healthcare – Clarksville recently honored 83 employees for their service to the hospital and its patients. “We honor these employees for the care and compassion they display to our patients and their family members,” said Alex Villa, Tennova Healthcare – Clarksville CEO.

Those who were honored for their five-year increments of service had a combined total of 1,145 years as hospital employees. Contributing the most years were Velda Wilcox, LPN, Nursery, with 40 years of service and Cindy Perigo, Accounting, with 35 years of service.

Employees of the Month for 2018 were recognized and among them, Sherri Wood, Quality Management, was named Employee of the Year. Sherri earned the honor for consistently going above and beyond in all her duties and for her willingness to take on new projects and responsibilities.

Three department leaders also received awards. The Clinical Co-Leaders of the Year award for 2018 went to Michelle Pepper, RN, BS, Director of Surgical Services, & Christopher Baggett, MLS (ASCP)CM, Laboratory Director. Ryan Windham, Director of Marketing earned the Non-Clinical Leader of the Year Award.
